You could study fairies (or huldufólk) through the medium of Faroese...that would really confuse them! 8-)

when your boyfriend gets a passionate kiss for having done the first lesson of the French course on Duolingo. And it feels like a surprise present to you.

I don't know if there is a fairy school in the Feroe Islands, but there is an Elf School in Iceland, so you could maybe study elves in Icelandic instead. ;)

When you translate "Let It Go" into Old English (it's over on HTLAL, set Active Topics to within the last month).

Edit: not me, someone else

The right lower corner suggests that it might be Mass General.

1. You go out of your way to use the Societe Generale ATM solely because it's a French bank.
2. You die every single time someone says, "Shakespeare's work was in Old English."
3. You hoard language learning resources that you're unlikely to ever use.
4. You wonder if it would be considered rude to run away from people whose first language is English.
5. You know that you're reading your native language(s), but for some reason, you're pronouncing it like you would your TL.
6. You're conversing with your parents over the phone whilst cooking, and then subconsciously switch to your TL.
7. You engage the James Bond protocol to eavesdrop on all TL conversations.

You make an effort to arrive at the office on time just so you can listen to your favourite French radio programme from the start while working.
