When you start learning the Greek alphabet on duolingo because of the omicron variant.

You got some obscure language question and you search the site and find you asked the same question 3, 6, xx years ago and still don't know the answer. And you've forgotten you've asked the question before.

When you ask that same question, only to discover you answered it xx years ago.

When you have an in-family joke about not knowing Russian, and all you can say is one silly phrase that you repeat all the time and when your daughter starts Russian and the family chat explodes with laughter because of Duolingo….

The other day my mom was given a candy bar with a wrapper with the words "коровка вафелбные конфеы шоколад" and she asked me if it was German. She thought that because the person who gave the candy bar to her is from Germany. I said that since the writing was in the Cyrillic alphabet it was most likely Russian, or Ukrainian, candy and she didn't want to believe me   . YAY, Now I have an excuse to start learning Russian and German ;) .
