When you are slightly annoyed that you didn't take the time to add a passage in Anglosaxon to your New Years rant.

Newsflash: neither girls nor women wear make-up for you.

It was just 2 words, Cèid. Let it go.

Frodo, im Arwen. Telin le thaed. Lest we forget.

I would rather that they don't, anyway.

What a girl or woman chooses to do with her face has absolutely ZERO to do with you. You can dislike it all you want but there is absolutely no need to go around spouting your opinion on women's appearance. Enough of that nonsense goes on already. Let me sum it up another way, if YOU don't like make-up then YOU don't wear it. Simple.

Let's change the topic, then.
When you juggle-read 6 different mangas, 3 in their original Japanese language, and 3 in the other target language of yours.

When even though you only learned French for 4 months by shadowing Assimil dialogues and have since not touched the language, you still speak better French than people who actually studied it for school (in my country French is only taught as an optional third language).

When your daughter asks you to remember a poem you cited at a bar a while back and when you can't remember, your first question is... "What language were we speaking?"

Maybe when I get her answer, I'll have a better guess. :?
