I'm starting to wonder if you're just trying to see how many threads on overly simplistic CI-based teaching ideologies is required to give me an aneurysm....

The CI cult can be pretty intense but that said this is a fun little method to start off language learning with. Its been pretty well tested, widely used, and works just as good as anything else out there at the beginning levels at least. Depending on the language they have lots of good support material especially with Chinese and Spanish. Take what its backer say theory wise with a grain of salt, but they are also very helpful with classroom techniques. It tends to work best with absolute beginners less so with intermediate or false beginners (it works with them but they it depends.)
