Russian language learning difficulties

Hello, Am creating a course for new students who want to learn the Russian language, I just want to understand what are the biggest problems that faced you and what kind of help do you need or wished you had while you were learning the language (online learning)?

I think minimal pair drills would be great, especially for hard and soft versions of consonants.

As a monolingual native English speaker: cases, imperfective vs perfective, щ vs ш, чтобы + past tense, some of the uses of dative case.

Stress placement in Russian can be...well...stressful at times. :roll:
