A topic for "presentations"?

Postby astromule » Tue Jul 21, 2015 12:59 am

Hi! I wanted to know if it would be possible to open a topic for "presentations" for new members to the site.

As for me, I'm a native Spanish speaker (Argentina) and I know English (C2, Cambridge Proficiency), French, Portuguese and Swedish. I'm currently studing Italian and German.

Although I was a member of the original site and I took many great tools from there, I never participated much in it, but I've been active on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/languagelearning), using the same username as here.

Best regards,

Astromule.

Rather than new member introductions (or perhaps in addition to) it would be nice to add a section about our language learning histories to our profiles. I know I'm always to shy to post introductions (and never did on the old site) and also felt strange about writing a log without being an established member. Looking back on it now, I see that is ridiculous, but I'm sure there are other wallflowers like me (who may even blossom like me and become impossible to shut up!!)
