Hehe it sounded like you edited your wording for disambiguation and didn't reread the resulting text. It wasn't anything like they're/their or even more advanced stuff that natives actually have troubles with

Just registered. It took me several times before it would accept one of my answers. I was using my tablet at first, then used my laptop. One question didn't make sense, something about top of head. On my tablet, I got the question about brewing but beer was deemed invalid. Thankfully it was accepted on my laptop.Strange.

I got the question about how many months are in one quarter of a year. I did think it was odd and it stop and made me think, but it's significantly better than a capcha.

If anyone can think of some better questions, which can't be computed by a computer, or easily discovered on Google, then post them here and I'll add some more to the signup verification. Basically a question which is easy for a human to answer but hard for a computer.

All things considered, this is a good form of filtering. My own question was easy enough, and after all we have to answer these questions only once. Time should sort out the useful ones from the ambiguous ones, if any.

We should keep in mind that not every potential participant is native or fluent in English though.
As for sky, I'm not sure the bot would bother googling. but an alternative question could be the opposite: what is blue and has clouds on it? Basically any really simple riddles should cut it.
