Yeah, my finances and my lack of French study will prevent my traveling to Montreal right now, so Boston would be the most likely for me. ;)

You Bostonians will have to find a good place for us to hang out. Is there a Bare Burger in Boston? I'm craving that kale* wrap something awful. ;)

*Edit: Collared Greens.. it was collared greens

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Sadly, it looks like you will have to get your Bare Burger fix in New Jersey or thereabouts, as there isn't one in Boston. :(

Are you still going ketogenic? Or maybe allergies? I found this article: https://www.bostonmagazine.com/restaurants/2018/06/25/allergy-friendly-boston-restaurants/

I've been doing OMAD. Allergies of course, but anywhere I can get a salad works fine :)

What allergies do you have?

There is also this place that is organic that looks interesting: https://farmacyboston.com/farmacy-menu/

Alright, some executive decision time. ;)

It looks like I might be starting a full-time position soon (yay!), so either the weekend of Nov. 17-18 or Nov. 24-25 looks the most likely for me.

For restaurants, here are some places that are 1. in Boston proper, 2. offer allergy-free things, 3. offers lunch, 4. offers salad, 5. might cater to different tastes? :?

http://myersandchang.com
https://www.bluedragonbos.com/menu/

There is also this place, which is organic and free of some allergens, but offers three things: 1. salads, 2. rice bowels, 3. smoothies.

Or if most of the people want Japanese or food related to ____ language, I'm sure we can figure something out. :)

I could do the 17th /18th! But I'll be mostly doing family stuff for Thanksgiving weekend on the 24th / 25th.

Ditto for me.. 17/18th it is. (Not necessarily two days, but that weekend ..)

I can eat Japanese easily. Or whatever I'll make work. We should figure out where we can hang out (library? Bookstore?) And decide food after that.

I'm pretty new here, but I'd love to come meet up with you guys. I'm not far from Boston and free that weekend. Any of the options discussed so far would work for me (I'm vegetarian, but anything works, I always see something on the menu that looks good). Sounds really fun!

Alright, 17th or 18th it is. :) Any preference for which day? My perception is that Saturday might easier if you have to travel and work on Monday?

As the French say, bien sûr! Come join us. :D Having experience cooking Japanese food, I can safely say that most things have fish, somewhere, so we’ll forgo that option. It sounds like the options I listed would be the most accommodating.
