My browser reminded me that this forum uses http instead of the increasingly popular https, meaning data is sent in plain text instead of encrypted. In effect, somebody connected to the same network can see what you're doing on the forum, including recording your password's hash when logging in.
More and more websites switch to https lately, so maybe we could join the trend? Is this something the administration can do, or is it up to the host?
edit: now that I've done a bit of reading, it seems like https is being implemented this Sunday. So, uh, ignore.
