YOUR OPINION ON SPLITTING A FORUM ROOM

Postby rdearman » Mon Feb 13, 2017 2:36 pm

The "Language challenges & teams" is full of study groups at the moment. This is a good thing where TAC teams have been replaced by on-going permanent Study Groups. A suggestion has been put forward to tidy up the Challenges are by giving Study Groups their own area and keeping Challenges solely for things like the super challenge or the six week challenge, etc.

We've decided to put it to a vote. So please have your say in the survey above, I'll let it run for a few days.

Great idea...we already have 14 groups set up, and I imagine that number will likely rise over time! You could also use the current Study Groups thread there as a sticky, both for current group members and any newcomers to the forum. :)

The response was pretty overwhelming for a move, so I've done that. If your study group has been missed out, let me know and I'll move it.

Is it possible to suggest a change in order? On Android, after the Study Groups forum was added, I have to scroll down now to find the Language Logs forum. I'd suggest moving the Logs forum to the top of the Challenges and the Groups forum, since it's more accessed.
