I've also discovered that I cannot do October... So. New dates anyone?

The steam has run off for this thing. Now I'm down with any dates, as long as it's during the weekend.
But there's also a good chance I'll go to the conference, and if I do, I'll most likely have a whole day layover in London on Friday and/or Monday, so there's that. Anyone else staying too?

I think I'm basically out this year, so unless we reschedule for after January then I don't think I can make it. Also, I'm pretty crap at organising this sort of stuff, is there anyone who is better at it, and wants to do something in Europe? Doesn't have to be London.

Yeah, this meeting lacked (lacks? anyone?) deciseveness and clear date. In the end we can always make LLorg Vienna 2018, as Brun Ugle suggested - the date and time are clearly set, there are no when's, could's and if's. Sure, not everybody will be able to go, but so will be the case with virtually any place/date combination - you can't satisfy the schedules of more than four-five people.

I can make no promises but Vienna 2018 sounds fantastic

I think the Vienna thing would probably have a better chance than London simply because we'd be on our way to or from the Gathering, and many of us will probably pass through Vienna (or its airport) anyway. I means we don't have to make an extra trip and the dates are already pretty much set.
