Spanish / French then. Gotta make it fun. We can codeswitch as needed (no English / English as last resort...)

I've never played D&D but I'm willing to try if you can explain the rules! (We might need picture cards for some of the more unusual words...)

OK, well I think we have one activity which will take a number of hours (D&D) and probably require a room! Playing D&D in French & Spanish one day and a book store tour on another day? Basically we'd have a Friday, Saturday and Sunday to fill. So lots of hours. Anyone else think of anything they'd like to do, and a language they'd like to do it in?

Saw this and thought about our proposed game.

Well, I doubt we'll be quite as eloquent as that when we play

I updated the list of participants and there are still 3 people who will definitely come and 6 more looking to. If I missed something, do tell.

When are we doing the bookings? I still may be able to come if I find a cheap return flight and or stumble upon a pot of gold.

I need to find somewhere to meet to play games and chat. Which means I need a venue and I don't know how I'm going to fit all that in. So if anyone would like to help me find a meeting room in London for that weekend which is cheap and cheerful, I'd appreciate the help.

Everything is a little up in the air for me at the moment. I'm hoping to be able to buy an apartment soon, so things might be a little chaotic for a while with looking for places, bidding on them and hopefully moving. Meanwhile, the place I am living now is trying to get revenge and is self-destructing around me. Today, the water heater sprang a leak. There was water everywhere! I'm so lucky it happened today and not a week ago when I was still traveling.

Anyway, I'd really like to come, but I'm not sure it's realistic at the moment.

Given the 6/3 ratio of people not coming vs coming, should we postpone to give everyone an opprotunity to agree a new date. Although I'm OK with the proposed weekend, it would give me more time to find a venue and plan some activities beyond "drink a couple of beers and play D&D"?

If my current situation doesn't change within the next month, I won't be able to come (basically 'health crap', and I have no way of predicting when I'll be a functioning human again  ).

If the date was pushed back, then the odds of me being able to come would increase, but please don't change anything on my account.
