Unfortunately I won't be able to join you, as I will be still writing my thesis by then.

Spoonary wrote:So, is this still happening? I would like to book my hotel and train tickets some time soon, to spend as little as possible, but I want to make sure that there'll be someone to spend the weekend with first!
How about some of us meet and figure out the details during the gathering? Things get done much faster in person. Then somebody would post the decisions here and see if all others agree.
Anyway, I'm no longer sure if I'll be able to come either. Will have to see if my finances will allow that, but won't know for sure before late June. And by then it'd be about time to do registrations and stuff.

Due to unfortunate unforeseen circumstances I most likely won't be able to come.

We thought it might be fun to play D&D in French? There is an open source version called Basic Fantasy and Zen Monkey volunteered to be the dungeon master. Anyone up for this bit of fun?

"Volunteered".
Of course our first problem was to find a generic word for sword. Beer will be involved.

Yeah, I can't speak French but I may be able to follow enough to have fun. If not, I'll just focus on the beer
