I thought the link rdearman provided was to show whether a site has been expired or not.

No, it is just a useful website which allows you to troubleshoot if access problems are just you and/or your ISP or if it is all of the Internet which cannot find a host server.

That's not likely to improve tbh. When mesaaging him during this latest outage I did try to engage him about future plans and improving the old forum but those questions went mostly ignored

Yeah, it's slow whenever too many people are online. I guess several users checked whether it really worked.
