Is HTLAL down again?

I first noticed it wasn't responding a few hours ago.

This still seems to be the case, as of 0100 Sat 23 April 2016 BST.

HTLAL worked fine for me at about that time. It is now 1:23 BST and HTLAL seems to be working fine.

Curious. It's still not working for me. It could be my network connection I suppose, but I seem to be able to connect to every other site I can think of (including some in Switzerland. I'm assuming that's where HTLAL is hosted).

Can other people in the UK connect to it ok?

Edit: As a reference point, google offered me a snapshot of the site home page as it appeared on Apr 22, 2016 09:46:48 GMT.
So presumably it was working normally at least up to that point.

Works for me in the UK. However I did a traceroute on it and it takes a LONG time and a lot of connections to get to it. So it might be your browser is just timing out before it gets a response?

Yes, that would tie in with the error messages:

My home WiFi isn't great, which may be exacerbating the effect of the external delays.

I seem to remember I was able to look at random pages there with no significant delays at least as recently as last week; I can't be sure exactly when was the last time though.

Looks like problem was at my end.

After rebooting my router, I can now access HTLAL. Response is not stellar, but at least it responds!

It worked for me, and for that matter, there were more active threads than I expected.

Is old HTLAL down for everyone?
I last checked it on Sunday October 29th, around 5pm UTC.
If it's down for you now, have you accessed it on October 30 or 31?

edit: works for me now. but let me know if it was recently down for you or especially if it's down now.

I tried to go on the site on Monday and couldn't, but it might have just been too slow. I got on yesterday, but it was really slow to load. Today was slow, but a little faster than yesterday.

Do you mean Sunday btw? Yesterday was Monday
