Horca means "noose" :) The word for pitchfork is tridente.

Horquilla y Horca also mean pitchfork.

Un tridente is a a trident - a type of barbed spear and not really useful as a farmers' implement. Horca is the proper term, although the other meaning lends confusion as it is more commonly understood.

Exactly. Some pitchforks actually have three points, which adds a bit to the confusion too -- but a trident by definition has three and never two or four as most pitchforks have. Most natives I've met don't pay enough attention, though.

Ideally yes. For the record, though, I failed a couple of times just like this one when I went on holiday for a mere four or five days and came back in the middle of the last outage. Nothing an overlapping 'full week' backup can't make up for, except of course when the forum falls for the last time.

The irony in it all is, I had been working at my backup computer for a couple of months and I finally had my main computer back up and running right before going on holiday -- so I didn't have time to put my backup computer and its backup back into their place to take care of automated tasks. Then I found out I couldn't use my main computer for that at the hotel either. Oh well...

See you all here during the next outage! : )
