Or is it just my computer? I tried going in with the regular web address and with that address that starts with 217 that we got the last time it crashed.
Is it working for everyone else?

Been down for me too for the last few hours.
According to a website that checks those things, the server is down as of right now.

Was working well for me earlier today, about 12 hours ago.

Well that escalated quickly
@mrwarper, if you're reading this - do your backups enable access by URL? There are links to old threads in the wikia Although at least in my case it's just a matter of time until I write the same things again here

It looks like all the related sites are also down, including his business's site and at least one other I know about. I have no idea what's going on, unfortunately, but it looks more serious than usual. I hope everything's OK on his end.

... and that's why we are here and moving forward with a new site. Of course, the mods will try and get in touch with him again. FX will probably get his sites up and running again and HTLAL will wait for its next inevitable crisis until...

Re: Old HTLAL crash again?
I certainly wish the best for FX and his enterprises.
Over the past few years I have had health, family, and personal issues, which really shouldn't be shared on a public site about language learning, that kept me off the net for a while. Nobody particularly noticed, since I'm not the admin of anything.
Whatever is going on, I hope it is just some sort of glitch.

Re: Old HTLAL crash again?
I hope this issue is related to health of the server and website, not that of FX.
When (if) it is back, I think we should encourage the rest of the community (especially the newbies) to consider moving. There have been a few new members, founded logs, asked questions, not taking into account the weak or no warnings of what is happening. I hope we don't lose them over the technical problems. Perhaps we should be less shy and put the "COME HERE!" sign to a visible and more seriously looking place, such as a pinned thread in the general discussion subforum.
