How can I get the forum as a RSS newsfeed?
You can subscribe to feeds from this site by going to:
http://how-to-learn-any-language.org/feed.php
However your rss subscription software will need to support authentication because you'll have to use your username and password to get the feed delivered to you.

That link doesn't seem to be active anymore.

Thanks, I'll check the admin panel and turn it back on. I need to also update some of the questions.

IF ANYONE HAS OTHER QUESTIONS ??? Post them here and I'll try to answer them in the FAQ.

Based on the context, I assume it should be replaced with this link:

https://forum.language-learners.org/feed.php

I also highly encourage admin to do a search in the database and remove all mentions of the previous domain considering someone has redirected it to malicious spam. Based on a quick Google search, this includes both posts and language log urls in profiles (@Mohave, @Komma, etc).

Code: Select all

site:forum.language-learners.org "how-to-learn-any-language.org"

In Progress

One question that would be useful I think is: How do I upload a picture into a post?

Personally I always have difficulties with adding personal pictures to my log.

you might want to have a question about email notifications not working/forum notifications semi-not working & that neither is going to be fixed.

The settings page says the profile picture max size is 200x160.
Note also that the phpBB software distinguishes between the photo and avatar. the photo is supposed to be in your profile, the avatar next to each post. 400x600 makes sense for a profile photo but not a userpic

THat one is in the PHPBB FAQ. Here: https://forum.language-learners.org/faq.php

So I'll add another question:

Where can I find out more information about using the site?

Fixed. :)

I have updated it. BTW this is just a bug in the current version of our software, so when we upgrade the email server encrypted connection bug disappears and we resume the normal service. So it took awhile for them to fix the bug and it is taking us a long time to integrate the change.
