They are both a short walk from the library. They also have patio/outdoor seating. Which brings up the question: how many people can see themselves staying for dinner, starting between 5:00pm and 6:00pm? I'm thinking I might need to make reservations.

For the initial congregation, I'm thinking Tatte on 399 Boylston St.--they have outdoor seating, and it's close to the Arlington stop.

So, itinerary:

1:00pm--4:00pm meet at Tatte, grab a coffee, lunch, whatever.

5:00pm--9:00pm dinner.

According to my maps, it will take me about 40 minutes to get from my church to where we are meeting, thus, depending on when exactly liturgy finishes, I may be there closer to 12:30. In addition, I will probably have to leave sometime around 4:30 as my train will leave at 5:15, so I will not stay for supper.

I plan to come to Tatte early just in case, so I will plan to come at 12:30pm. :)

As for the weather, I noted the forecast predicts some amount of rain, so we might have to move indoors. If anyone doesn't feel comfortable meeting indoors, I understand. I will come to see anyone that decides to visit. ;)

So unfortunately I can't make it out. The flights I was planning on taking ended up filling up last minute (they looked fine yesterday) as well as most of the ones leaving Sunday. I hope y'all still have fun and if I'm in Boston again (it's on my list!) I'll make a post here or something and hopefully I can meet some of you.

Here’s an idea: we go to Life Alive on 431 Boyston—like two restaurants down—as they have covered outside seating. Less COVID, less rain. :)

Unfortunately, my small person is sick and I wouldn't want to pass it on to any of you fine folks, so I'll need to sit this one out. Have fun, everyone!

i am currently on my way into the city.
When I checked this morning, it was not supposed to rain today, although the view out of the train window now seems rather different. Perhaps outside might not be the best option today.
