Re: Aledda's Log (2017 - )

Re: Spanish past particle construction

If my understanding is correct ser focused on what happened and estar focused on what changed . Is this closer to the idea or "feeling" you have when using the two different verbs? Yes, I don't know how the actual "grammar rule" explains it, but when we use those verbs the idea ...

My cough was louder than the audios in Japanese, so my listening practice consisted of pausing and rewinding every m...

Oh, don't worry! That happens a lot!
Typing in romaji on the computer is practical but sometimes you end up writing something else

Re: Komma’s Log: A fresh start with a new language (JP)

Hi! You're doing great! :D I hope my commenting here doesn't bother you, but maybe it can help you. After these two sections I went on with the grammar part. I only read through the first bit with x わ y です to learn about how to create some very basic sentence like "x is y" (with or without...

Re: What is your favorite part of language learning?

I must confess I hated English when I was younger. At the age of 6, my parents made me study it, because it will be useful for me (which it has been and still is, I can't deny that) and all that blabla. But I didn't enjoy it. I didn't like it, since I barely interacted with things in English ...
