I'm going to change my signature line to reflect that also.

Do I need to change it anywhere else? The LangChallenge Bot or anything?

As far as I understand, no? The bot just counts things, it doesn't understand your goal.

It is in the FAQ.

The twitter bot isn't obligatory but many find it motivating :) Bots are also used for other challenges like the 6WC or Tadoku (the latter is reading-only). You don't need to share anything personal, even the names of what you read/watch.

Does anyone fancy telling me how far along we're supposed to be now, supposing that we have read/watched the same amount every day for the entirety of the challenge?

I would work it out myself but my maths skills are lacking...

[(Total number of pages)/(days between 01/05/2016 and 31/12/2017)] * (days between 01/05/2016 and today) =P

For pages that'd be
(5,000/609)*170 = 1395.7

For minutes that'd be
(9,000/609)*170 = 2512.3

Thanks a million, Yuurei! I guess that means I'm not quite as far behind as I thought I was. I'll have to start giving Italian some more attention soonish though, to catch up. :?

There's another approach that can give you an idea of where you stand: that's the "At this rate you'll finish with N.NN books/films" that shows up above your graph/list. If the number shown is bigger than your set target, you're ok.

This is misleading only if you are progressing by leaps and bounds and then stopping for long periods of time, as the variations will be huge. If you're going at a steady pace you should be ok.

I'm possibly just being stupid but I've just sent two tweets to the bot and it has counted both as 90mins, even though I specified times. I haven't had this problem before and can't work out why it's happening. I am @snecarlyle on twitter. Does anyone have any advice?
