That's the first time I've heard a collection of books described using total length (and in metric and imperial too!) Smallwhite, I'm duly impressed...but surely you're curious as to the approximate total volume of your volumes too. ;)

I just registered with Russian which I am restarting just now! Assimil + Duolingo first two weeks, then I add intensive reading to the mix. Bring it on! 8-)

Hey! I'm in second place! Woohoo! I'm just going to enjoy my glory, until tomorrow.

Registered for Greek, which I hope will spur me on to a more productive February than January...

Just registered for German. After a bunch of reading in January (yay, Tadoku), I'd want to focus on my listening comprehension for the 6-week challenge. I still miss way more than I understand, so I'm hoping a big dose of Listening-Reading will boost my level.

Which is why my 6WC starts and ends Germany time rather than California time. I got tired of being a full day behind everyone else.

I was in first place last time for nearly 4 hours. It was sublime. :D

I signed up for Russian. I am an absolute beginner. All I have done prior to this 6WC was the alphabet videos on Russianpod101 and some cursive practice.

Wow, I'm impressed by all the folks who had 4-8 hours in the first day!

I work full-time and have other responsibilities too, so I'm pleased with my own 2+ hours yesterday. But I'm also jealous. ;)

I always do a big push the first couple of days. I also don't do any housework or run any errands. Helps with the big push but I haven't found a way to make it last the full 6 weeks yet.

Haha, it wouldn't go over so well with my husband if I didn't do any of my obligations for over a month. :P Yesterday was the first of the month, so I spent a bit over an hour setting up the budget for the month and paying some annual bills that came due, for instance. That couldn't really wait 6 weeks. :)
