Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
I got a lot of listening done back when I stayed temporarily with my mother - gardening (not necessary but mindless and lets me pay attention to the MP3 in my ears), preparing dinner (~70 minutes), walk after dinner (~25 mins), throwing out my old stuff...

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
Has anyone else had trouble with some tweets to @6WCBot not getting acknowledged or credited? I have 25 minutes (from 4 tweets total) that haven't been replied to by the bot. I don't usually do the 6-Week Challenge, so I don't know if this is "normal".

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
I gave my apartment a thorough scrub-down the last days of January to be prepared to go full speed into the challenge, then I ended up getting sick on the first day and taking three naps that day. Oh well, we tortoises know it's slow and steady that counts. I'll make up for it later.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
So far I'm doing just as much on French as I'm doing on my target - Russian. The reason for that is that I'm at reading / listening stage in French and Russian is still a jumble of "WTF?!" It's so much easier to log a lot of hours if you understand already! So, I'm pretty sure it'll pick up for me as things get clearer

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
The 6WC has been a good motivator so far! I've averaged 3.3 hours of dedicated study per day, while my all-time average is only about 2.5 hours. (Which means I average only 1.7 hours when the 6WC is not on? )

Sometimes the Bot doesn't accept my posts. Could that be because of the use of a colon? Or is it randomly?

I have the same problem, and I haven't figured out any pattern to it.

It seems to be random. One of my posts wasn't accepted and it was just like the others. There was also one that looked like it wasn't accepted because I couldn't see an answer, but when I looked at my stats, it had been accepted. I keep track of my time in Excel in addition, so it's easy to check.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
I also use Excel for keeping track.
I wonder if I made a mistake using twitter, because three out of my five posts so far weren't accepted. These contained a ":" because I wanted to add the date. Some time after posting I deleted the neglected ones and rewrote them using a hyphen "-" instead of the colon. Almost instantly I got the return message from the bot. Coincidence or pattern? I will try again ...

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - Feb 2017
It happens with my tweets sometimes, I just delete the tweets which haven't been replied for 10 minutes and rewrite them.
