You are added!

I think I'll have some time soon to edit that "reserved for list of resources" post into a real list. I know some of you have mentioned some resources you'd like to see in the team list. Does anyone else have resources they'd suggest or recommend be included?

I am looking for a good pre-made Anki or Quizlet Spanish Flashcard deck. I am a false beginner. I need simple beginner material, but yet at the same time, I have a fair amount of basic vocabulary. I think I am looking for something that has a fair amount of vocabulary, including verbs (where I definitely remember very little!) that I can delete for the ones that I already know. I have been looking at some pre-made decks, but would appreciate any sage advice!

This is an excellent 5000-word Anki deck, complete with pictures and recordings:

Hello team, I'm late updating my log and I've been very busy the last few days so I just wanted to check in. I've started back at school and I'm writing up an assessment right now so I've done hardly anything else these last few days. My assessments are finished up on the 21st, so after then I should be back into the grove of things.

We've been sick in my house, so I wasn't in much shape to be online. And my Spanish hit a lurch in the learning. I'm getting back into it again. I'll hopefully be able to post my Spanish intro tomorrow. I hope everyone's Spanish is going well. :)

¡ Hola Team Spanish !

I just successfully registered for the 6 Week Challenged mentioned earlier in our team log that starts Feb 1. I did several of these with my French and it was great motivation. Here is the main 6WC webpage that includes a link for the TwitterBot and Registration. I hope I have some teammates join me!

First, I have put together a list of resources in the second post of this thread. As it says there, if you have anything to add or change, either about the resource itself or any of the explanations, please let me know and I will edit the post. I put everything mentioned in this thread, stuff I like, and stuff I've seen recommended. It can definitely be improved upon—for one thing, I don't have anything about conversation exchanges.

Second, I am about to put information into the first post about our January monthly challenge. Looking through, I think Hank, Kulelyn, and I have posted one. If I've missed you, let me know so I can add you to the list. Of course, the month isn't over yet, either, so there's still time to post something if you haven't done so yet.

As a reminder, the challenge is to post a self-introduction in Spanish, saying whatever you'd like to say about yourself. Please self-evaluate what amount or part of an introduction would be a "challenge" for you to do in Spanish and you can do the rest in English if you need to.

Third, let's have a discussion about what kind of monthly challenges you all would like, if any. We should figure out one for February, but it would also be great to have a running list for future months.
