Why are all Teach Yourself books out of stock?
Browsing at Amazon it seems all or most Teach Yourself books are no longer available from Amazon directly. Anyone has any idea why?

Amazon has a listing somewhere on their site about how popular a book is and if it doesn't score high enough on that list, they probably don't see a reason to keep it in stock.
I've had very good luck with their used books dealers--I love getting books for under a dollar plus the $3.99 shipping.

Pure speculation on my part, but I think TY is about to rehaul their course line-up...AGAIN.
I think that if a language hasn't already gotten a newer version of its course out (the new ones with the "Discovery Method"), then they'll probably be discontinued.
I've noticed that every time TY retool their courses, a ton of brand new copies show up at the second hand book stores where I live, and that's actually the case, they've got a glut of brand new books and book and CD packs.
Again, purely speculation but I think they're streamlining their offerings.

Damn it, I guess there is little hope of a TY Telugu then.
