Assimil workbooks
I was nosing around Amazon just now and found that they have published a French Workbook https://www.amazon.co.uk/French-Workbook-Assimil-x/dp/2700507118/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1490642444&sr=1-2. Amazon also has Assimil workbooks for German, Spanish and Chinois. Has anyone here had any experience of any of them?

Re: Assimil workbooks
A similar discussion thread was opened in August, 2016:
Assimil workbooks for false beginners

I wouldn't be concerned about having not noticed this, specifying criteria for the Search function can be more than a little tricky!

Re: Assimil workbooks
Ah, thanks for that. As you guessed, I searched but couldn't find the thread.
