It depends on which part of the language you're looking at.

Most of the vocabulary I'll be teaching is similar to Irish, and of the grammar I'm covering I think around three-quarters of it would be applicable to Irish too.

You'll be asked about your language background when you sign up, and no-one is likely to be refused -- I can filter the data later if someone's language background makes them too atypical.

Is it too late to sign up? This sounds fun!

Thanks both.
No, it's certainly not too late.
I'm hoping to get the consent form/entry questionnaire online this weekend, with a view to starting the study on Monday the 5th of June. As I said, it's a 3-week programme, but I'll put in some extra stuff and leave the logins live for a while afterwards so people can continue learning if they want.

I've got a week or two of leeway for late signups too, so anyone reading this after the 5th is free to get in touch if they're interested in taking part.

When the questionnaire's online, I'll start a new thread and add a link here.

Thanks again to everyone who has responded so far!

I have just launched the signup page for my research. Fuller details in this thread.

All assistance is very much appreciated, and if you know anyone outside this forum who might be interested, please feel free to pass on the link.
