I've been using Schoenhof's to get Assimil courses in the U.S. I've been satisfied with their prices and service.
They just put out an announcement that they are closing their physical store location. They'll stay open with an on-line presence. They've got a few good deals at the moment. http://www.schoenhofs.com I hope their business transition is successful.

Re: Schoenhof's physical store closing
This is very sad news indeed. Schoenhof's Bookstore was a landmark in Harvard Square, Cambridge. A lot of places are being squeezed out of business by the high rents. And Harvard, who is the major landlord in Harvard Square, would rather rent to chain stores that are willing and able to pay the high rents. A few years ago the owner of one now closed bookstore told me that the rents in Harvard Square were only exceeded by those on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
