movies2anki is a tool that splits a movie into clips (phrases) using timing from subtitles and generates tsv file that can be imported into Anki.
I'm using it on AnkiDroid, mostly to rewatch phrases from movies and serials, sometimes with hardcoded english subtitles, sometimes without and sometimes with english subtitles only (i.e., without translated subtitles).

It's me again. I'm still kelciour but lost my password a while ago and I'm not sure when it'll be resetted.
Since the initial post about movies2anki, it's been updated to an Anki add-on - https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/939347702
It works with offline video files (.avi, .mp4, .mkv) and .srt subtitles.
A few months ago I've added support for Anki 2.1 and recorded a new video on How to Watch Friends (TV Series 1994–2004) with AnkiDroid using HTML5 Video.
It can also be used to generate cards with pictures and audio similar to subs2srs or just audio and no video.
