I am wondering whether it is possible to create a Reading Club for those, who are learning English? We can meet in skype and discuss something we have read. For example, we can start from articles from the Guardian. What do you think?

I like the concept of the Nordic Book Club (http://forum.language-learners.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2648) here in the forum.
Though reading articles would allow more flexibility and members could join whenever they want.

I'm in for something along the lines of the Nordic Book Club.

Ok, let's choose a book!
I love suspense stories. And you?

I usually read mainly socio-critical books, books with a more or less hidden "And the moral of this story ...."-aspect or biographies and stuff like that.

But Fantasy or Thriller is also ok.

As long as it is no cheesy love story or something about deathly ill people, everything should be ok.

I'm about to start Red Dragon by Thomas Harris, which fits the suspense and thriller requirements, I think. But I'm open to suggestions, of course.

Haven't read it yet and forgot most about The Silence of the Lambs. Sounds good to me.
