Yes! I'll add a link to the book on goodreads in the first post.

Excellent. In that case, for everyone else's reference, here are links where you can buy the ebook in Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish. Not every website out there is set up to allow international commerce, but I'm pretty sure these three all work for me from the U.S., at least.

I'm going to be reading this too! I'm curious to see how many we are in this NBC:OB.

I have downloaded the Swedish ebook and loaded it onto my tablet. I'll be reading in the ReadLang app, which will save all my word lookups for later SRS'ing. I have just read the prologue, and there must have been at least 25 new words I looked up. Might have to prune those often (or get better at guessing)! Reading the whole 1059 digital pages will be daunting, but hopefully this thread will keep me going.

In terms of discussing progress, the book seems to have plenty of chapters so might it be best if we stick to those as our milestones? I'll be starting chapter 1 tonight. Excited!

Please post here if you'll be participating, and also please let me know if you have a copy of the book available. I still don't have my copy, although I will be paying for a month's subscription to storytel, so I'll have access to an electronic version. I also know that tiia doesn't have a copy, so I'm wondering if it will be okay to adopt a slower pace to begin with, in order to make catching up easier?

In addition, tell me how much you think you'll be able to read. We've got a range of different proficiencies, so it will likely not be possible to cater for everyone, but I'd like to please as many of you as possible. Feel free to tell me in your book club post or by PM.

I'm in and I have an electronic copy of the book.

With 600 pages and 70+ chapters, anything less than 3 chapters per week would take forever to finish the book. I'm in favour of a slow start in May, but from June onward I should be able to follow any pace you propose, at least if the book is good enough :)

I'm going to order a copy right now (Norwegian). Is anyone going to use the audio?

Oh, and I agree with starting slowly in May, too. I have another book to finish so I can dedicate my full Norwegian reading time to Odinsbarn.

I'm planning to take part and planning to use an e-book and an audiobook. I don't have them yet...been meaning to for ages, but not "got around to it" yet. :) It will be pretty slow going for me I suspect, so don't wait around for me. :)

I have the Swedish ebook now, but as of this moment I need to wait half an hour before I start reading.
