I (might) need an 8 month maintenance plan for Spanish. Suggestions needed

Have you tried keeping a written diary entirely in Spanish? Potential Spanish-speaking colleagues that you know of? If it were one or the other, I'd suggest focusing on improving your active skills (writing, speaking, thinking) rather than passively tuning into Spanish at sporadic intervals. At least that way, you could highlight what areas you have weaknesses in to improve upon later when you have more free time.
