There seems to be a little problem with the participant pages on the SC website. It shows the following warning everywhere:

Code: Select all

Warning: Division by zero in /home/xgipubli/public_html/sc2016-17/participant.php on line 341

OK, there was a problem with the code which calculated the dates and the amount of books you'll read. This worked before the 1st of May because the days remaining in the challenge were zero, and you can divide zero by zero, but not any other number. Why it didn't occur to me to look at the actual numbers I don't know. Anyway I've just rolled back 1 version and I'll fix that when I get back from the Polyglot conference, it doesn't effect the functioning of the bot.

No big deal but:

Registration : #register, #swedish/#french/#it/#ru/etc
Tags in brackets are optional.
Example: "@langchallenge I'm going to #register and study #French for the Language Challenge."

I think the optional tags were referring to the old half/super duper/only listening/etc options. Anyway, the current version has no optional registration tags.
(I know some people actually thought these brackets in general are important :?)

What would I change it to?

Just remove the "tags in brackets are optional" line or move it to another section :D

also...
If you read a really long book, it will automatically be split into the appropriate number against your score.

I think this stems from when a 500-page book counted as two :D over 50 pages is not "really" long haha

ayudarme! The bot thinks #01 is Moldavian, and #family-romance is Persian. How are you guys managing to log your families?

I had the same thing with #family-romanian, but #01 worked just fine :?
seems like the issue was actually with the #movies tag. as I said, you can safely exclude Moldovan. It's even less different than Serbian and Croatian.

This isn't a huge problem, but the bot has already given me a 2 week streak for French because it recorded my first tweet as occurring on Saturday. The bot's time is evidently "a little further to the west" as Cuthbert Calculus always said.

Don't worry, consider it a freebie.
