Re: CarlyD's Spanish and German Log

I've realized that I don't post much when there's not a 6 Week Challenge going on.
During the 6 weeks "off" I've continued to plug through my grammar workbook, talk as much as possible and watch tv. Fortunately, I do keep a daily journal so when the next challenge starts Aug. 1st I'll go back through and see if anything qualified to be logged for the Super Challenge (I don't think so--no movies watched.)
I've actually spent more time on German lately--all this mess going on over there and I keep going to local newspaper sites to see what they're reporting. Sadly, I've learned three ways to say "rampage."
I'd finally decided to spring for the money to take a formal Spanish class--the place had moved all the way downtown and I didn't fancy the drive, but the classes were in the daytime, which would work. I took the placement test--and the classes I qualified for are all either night classes or get out right at rush hour. I'll look again in the fall.
I'm continuing with the grammar workbook until the 6WC officially starts.
