Muchas gracias Allison :P

So I have started to watch my first spanish film- only 20min in but can pick out occasional words :) its a start! the film is called Sidetracked and its about two brothers (one is trying for a baby and one is divorced/separated and with a younger lady- their dad has dementia) its good so far! Reading subtitles and film at same time i can just manage- maybe because sign language im listening with watching the signs?

Feel more comfortable with bsl as feel i dont forget much and its like a sponge whereas spanish (- not french tho ) feel i struggle to remember things :s

Spent this morning listening to coffee break spanish l(prefer to spanish 101) only one clip but will listen to few more later

Thats it for now :) will update again soon!

Hello

So have read a few pages of spanish in 12 weeks- been picking 7 words and trying to remember them and think every few days pick another 7 and remember them technique....

Will listen to coffee break podcasts now and probably be in the morning.... and the film in the evenings :)

Also have someone who know on fb who lives in spain and asked if can grab me some magazines to practise reading with :)

Anyway thats it for now!

Today im not feeling well and been up since 4am but attempted Spanish and French proficiency tests online- on A1 (Beginner) still but here are the results:

Spanish-

Got 37% 55/150

grammar 1 - 13%
grammar 2- 47%
vocab- 63%
reading- 30%

French -

Got 42% 63/150

grammar 1- 47%
grammar 2 - 27%
vocab- 30%
reading- 70%

:) Not bad on both (and I kind of rushed through it and had few distractions and done one after the other) will keep doing the tests every few months I think to see if any progress but space them out and take my time!

Thats all for updates for now :)
