The French word "déroute" means "rout".

In Danish we use the French word "deroute" (in one word) about a breakdown in social status, but in French is seems to be used not only about that, but also about chaos in general. "De route" (in two words) always seems to be based on the original meaning of "route", though.

I'm pretty sure you can describe any text that is article size or longer as "a good read" as long as it's actually good to you. For instance I wouldn't describe a book I didn't like as a good read.
