Study Groups

Postby Teango » Wed Jan 04, 2017 2:31 am

I notice that there is little mention of organizing TAC teams this year, but instead, a general tendency towards forming or continuing study groups for specific languages and language families/groupings. I thought it would be useful to have a thread that lists all currently active study groups, and also serves as a place where new study groups can formally announce themselves to the forum and provide a link to their study thread for interested members.

Here are the study groups I've found on the forum which appear to be active (I'll add more to the list as they're announced):

Good luck to everyone in their studies, and let's help each other achieve our goals together in 2017 and beyond!

You forgot the Finnish study group, but that might be considered more of a torture chamber...

I think the Finnish group is more of a group project than a normal study and support group. But there is the Nordic group as well that you've missed out.

Russian study group
Esperanto study group

Or is your list just for 2017? I'm new to this forum and these "teams" so unsure if they are usually restarted every new year.

The Esperanto one was just a team for last year's TAC rather than a study group so it's technically come to an end now. But we could create an Esperanto study group :)

The way I understand it, study groups will automatically continue each year and remain listed in this thread unless members request otherwise (e.g., unless a group would like to start a new thread, recategorize itself, or be removed from the list due to inactivity).
