So I'm just extremely compelled to vent my frustration (i.e. expose my stupidity) of a small thing that was bothering me while going through the Language Transfer Complete Spanish course.
In I think the beginning of unit 5 the instructor uses the verb cancelar, but when translating to english, it sounds to me like he's saying something closer to counsel (/ˈkaʊn.səl/) rather than to cancel (/ˈkænsl/). I'm still not 100% but there is a short (I'm assuming unfinished) memrise course dedicated to the audio course and the creator has cancelar and cancelación listed in level 4, and well, that makes a lot more sense now haha.
Maybe it's just me but this threw me off and the fact that I couldn't be sure what he was referring to exactly annoyed me. It's not a complaint about the course though, I love it so far. In fact it's making me really consider donating as I know there are plans/goals to create transcripts for all the courses.
Dumb example of confusion w/o transcript
