Q. Does early speaking lead to fossilized mistakes?
A. Yes, if you have a lot of patience and ten millennia to spare.
Q. Are there lists of the most frequent sentence patterns?
A. I can't say I encounter them frequently enough to say for sure.
Q.Is pronunciation a function of intelligence?
A. Too many undefined variables...
Q. Am I the only one who hates Harry Potter?
A. I know one other guy who did, but unfortunately He Cannot Be Named...

Re: The Answers to Discussion Topics
Learning a second Slavic language
Maybe learn the first one first? Actually I doubt that you can skip no. 1 and go directly to no. 2.
Anecdotal evidence for extensive TV series
I have heard about vile things like Friends ... and long ago people told me about scary things like Dollars and Dallas and Colombo (or is it Columbo?). Actually I am inclined to belive that they still exist.
Best Book Only Read in L2
My L2 is English, so I can't choose between all the possible candidates (cfr remark concerning forgotten memory rules).
Can one calculate comprehension?
No. You have to feeeeeeeel it !
2017 Polish Log
Well, maybe I should do some log polishing here in 2017. My Polish also needs some polishing.
Does early speaking lead to fossilized mistakes?
No, language mistakes don't get fossilized - only bones and (in rare cases) soft tissue.
Comfort Zones and Efficiency
I do the most efficient part of my studying in my comfy chair
Rules of memory 'beautifully' rewritten
Do you remember them better when they have been written as exquisit calligraphic masterworks? Well, maybe I should try it one day ... if I still remember them, that is..
....
Rules of memory 'beautifully' rewritten
Too late - I have already forgotten them!

Creating an Anki deck from Kindle's words - better check with the other Kardashians first
Got stuck at C1 in English - but I don't mind because when you C1 you've seen them all
SRS but not Quite - it probably means your computer over-heated; just turn on some music or wear earplugs
Q: When is translation not translation?
A: When the sum of the vectors equals zero.
Q. How many languages can you keep at a high level?
A. It depends. The higher I get, the less I can keep at.

(no offence meant to my fellow Slavic language natives!)

A: I'll tell you as soon as Picard gives me a shore leave.
Q:Best Book Only Read in L2
A: That's not fair I cannot nominate Harry Potter just because I've read it in L1,L3, and L4!
(btw it's true)
A:Does early speaking lead to fossilized mistakes?
A:Ask the dinosaurs. Perhaps some of them spoke earlier than they were supposed to, and look what happened.
