Nice. I never listened to Animal as Leaders, but I love Devin Townsend a lot and have seen both them and Dream Theater before. Good shows. Hope you had a good time.

I'd be surprised if attendees weren't studying something nerdy between acts like those

(That's meant as a light-hearted comment; I enjoy all these bands and would love to see them together!)

Valid. Given all of Devin's nerd jokes when I saw him live.

But they are worth seeing if you get the chance. Same with Dream Theater, although I am not big on them anymore, I used to be.

You know you have a heavy cold when you ask your ChatGPT app a question in English (using its otherwise excellent speech recognition) and it replies to you out of the blue in Welsh! :?

However you know you're a language nerd when that doesn't deter you, and with the help of Google Translate and an air of naughty childlike glee, you try to reply and keep the conversation going in Welsh!! 8-)

IV years of age is an excellent time to start learning Anglosaxon .. so go for it! And VIII PM is fine for something of that importance.

when your obvious solution to a tv show episode missing on a streaming site in German is just going to a more complete site in Italian, watching the episode, and then returning to the show in German.

I even had to watch an episode in Italian without actually knowing Italian (hoping that my Spanish will pull me through) for an animated series in French.

When you see a word in a language, and try to link it back to other languages. (The Javanese word for the queen piece in chess, patih, is VERY SLIGHTLY related to the words power/possible in Latin)

Alternatively, when you see a word in one language and end up learning a new word in your native lang as a result (masticar in Spanish taught me masticate in English.)
