Re: LLorg/HTLAL in-person meetup event
I am in two minds about meeting you all in person As a somewhat shy person I like to hide behind my nick and my avatar. So far I have only met one -1 - other forum member in person. On the other hand I have created this image of many of you in my head, including what your voice would sound like and I am afraid reality will not match my imagination. However one day I may just be tempted to creep out from my blue and yellow hiding-place and join a meet-up somewhere. After all I am sure it would be totally worth it to spend time with you guys .

I'd be up for a London meeting, but not until July. (Though sounds like it wouldn't be for a while anyway, if we are waiting for the Gathering to be finished?)

I would love to meet you guys!...But not this year. This year I'm a broke college student, who will get her first career job this summer. Next year I'll actually have funds.

(just watch, this'll happen in the summer at which point I'll be in Europe for a few months)
Portland might actually be a decent location: we can all raid Powell's foreign language section. And yeah, way cheaper than a lot of the larger cities.
When are you in Europe, so we can avoid those dates?

If it happens, hopefully it will happen more than once.

London is (obviously) perfect for me - but probably not during July. I'm more than happy to coordinate bookshop tours! That's practically a hobby of mine!

Guess you'll have to come to an Esperanto meetup to find out #whathappensinEsperantujostaysinEsperantujo
A meetup in London sounds good to me, but I'm obviously slightly biased by living in the UK

Nope, just a chick that likes pixie hair cuts.

When we finish raiding one Powell's of all of their language books, we'll move to the other.
