[EDIT: this post no longer applicable]

How about we submitted our suggestions from now until 13th February. Then I'll collect all suggestions and set up for everyone to vote. Please put your suggestions in BOLD type:

Code: Select all

Lang Learn League

so I can locate them easily and so I know which suggestions are serious and which are just joking. Those who have already made suggestions please submit again, because I'm pretty sure some weren't serious but I don't want to decide which weren't.

Is that OK?

I think we have been "language learners" for so long now that the time has passed for a name change.

Yes a name change now would damage our google status (at least for a few months) and it is also a real pain to change over. Last time it was a couple hours outage. :(

I agree with Iversen. I think our name is set and it's a bit late to try to change it. But I think LLORG is a great acronym and this is the funniest thing ever:

I vote to keep our name as is and use LLORG as the acronym.

Many cases exist of humans listening to R'lyehian. The famous words ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn chanted by the wide ranging Cthulhu Cult is the most famous. It is often described as very guttural and sounds inhuman when heard aloud.

No problem, I'm really just after an acronymn, for example to put on my bookmarks.
