I think I'd jut go for "Learn Any Language"

It keeps the link with the past, and is simple to type. Names that are too snappy start to sound a bit commercial.

There is enough precedence for acronyms to lose their original meaning. HTLAL has never been officially used on the other side, has it? A simple http://htlal.org would do it and the acronym doesn't have to mean anything.
(I would have suggested http://hatelal.org but I realize there are not many here who would pronounce it that way :P )
http://htlal-language-community.com might already be too long again

It sounds almost like "hate languages.org"... perhaps that's not the message that we're trying to send here. :D

Language Learning Fanatics and Successful Second Language Learning are good as well and might not scare reasonable adults away.

Perhaps the mods should come with a date until which we can post new ideas. On that day, everything could be put into a poll, every member given two or three votes (please, let us vote for more than one, so that we can find a better compromise), and we could have a new forum name chosen in a few days or weeks.
