I'm opting for simplicity and currently just using LLF (Language Learners' Forum) for my bookmarks.

But we have a static site as well (http://language-learners.org/) and we're not just a forum...

And emk said,

emk wrote:Probably LLo is "safe", because that's the domain name, and that's much less likely to change than the "official" name.

But I usually include all punctuation (L-Lo) but not the TLD (L-L)...

But this, but that, while this, whereas that.... and I couldn't make up my mind :D

PS.: My post about collecting suggestions no longer applies.

were you speaking of the domain/url or the name?
i'm pretty sure that the text in the header can be changed easily if that's what the community wants (although it's probably better to add more text without changing what we already have). Maybe what we need is more like a catchy slogan, especially for the main static site. like "language-learners.org: how to learn languages and why it's worth it" or some such.

LyricsTraining now has Finnish and Polish :)
Corrections welcome

I don't mean the URL. I mean name as in business name, currently "A language learners’ forum", and then an acronymn, derived from the URL or the name or both.
