I once read a "silent period" blog post where the learner had watched (or listened to) many of hours of native audio, and felt guilty after saying a a simple "Hello" in the target language. :roll:

I had problems the first day (the browser probably pointed to the old DNS), but one hour later everything worked fine.

The closest ones are 200 km from me (strangely enough, one of them seems to have relatives in my area), a few names I've seen before (in the Esperanto world or the polyglot world).

Our library hasn't got any learning material for Greenlandic (or any other Inuit languages). Does anyone here know of any resources? Does anyone here speak it? I have browsed the web and found online resources, e.g. a Tumblr site (difficult to navigate), Greenlandic 101 , and a tutor in Danish . And...
