Re: Le groupe français 2016 - 2017 Les Voyageurs

I've been using Cavesa's Memrise conjugaison française deck for verb drills. This is my first time using Memrise, and I really like it. Thanks Cavesa for creating and sharing your deck!

Re: Le groupe français 2016 - 2017 Les Voyageurs

I'd like to do some verb drills. I'm looking for a site that has configurable verb options, and it must take typed in responses. Does anyone have any good sites to recommend? That one seems to match your expectations: you can choose which tenses and verbs you want to drill. http://www.toutelaconjug...

Re: How's the new server performing?

Thanks for taking the time to share the technical details of the new setup. Great choice in AWS. It certainly looks like you admins have taken performance seriously. Excellent speed where I sit. Thank you!

Re: Log rlnv 2017 (FR)

Day 25 completed. Since I've started focusing on book study these last weeks, I've come to re-enforce my understanding of the relationship between focus and outcome. It's no surprise to me that my input skills are far greater than output skills. It's what I've been spending massive amounts of time o...

Re: PM's French Courses Mission

I'm going to go a bit against the grain. If you feel you are not ready, don't pressure yourself to make the May date. It's not worth the stress. But before making a decision, have you considered booking a few hours with a qualified DELF/DELE tutor? Someone that specializes in preparation and has the...

Re: PM's French Courses Mission

Salut Peter. I recall recently you posted some of your study notes not long ago. I was looking for them with no success, and am not sure if you posted it in your log or in the French group thread. I'm wondering if you keep notes on many or all points of grammar that you study? I'm thinking of doing ...

Re: Log rlnv 2017 (FR)

Day 10 and still running strong. I've been doing workbook study from 60 to 90 minutes per day. Only one day fewer than 60 minutes during that time. It's good progress for a slacker like me towards a good study habit. Given my goal for this year, I'll need to keep that rate of study all year. I just ...

This is a 'test paste' to see if I can get this right... I'll come back and paste the rest of the images in this post later --to be edited post dialang-- http://dialangweb.lancaster.ac.uk/setals# Ah I don't understand computers :x For now I've posted the image into MWord as I can't even find Paint ...
